Merundoi Incorporated’s Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Helpline is a part of the “ Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods for Vulnerable Groups in Guyana “Project funded by the European Union.
It is a vital service designed to provide immediate support and guidance to individuals experiencing or affected by gender-based violence. This helpline (701-9676 or 701-9677) offers confidential advice and information on accessing essential services, including legal aid by connecting callers to community resources.
Merundoi aims to empower survivors, raise awareness, and create a safer environment for individuals at risk of abuse across Guyana, especially in remote and vulnerable communities.
Persons witnessing abuse in any form are also encouraged to call anonymously.
